Ghost had been maintaining this safe house for a few months now, and to be honest, it was a pretty good gig. Stay inside, make sure the cameras and mics were still working, and not be found out. Easy.

He rarely left the flat, only to get groceries for the week and early in the morning for a run, but he always seemed to run into the same person. Or, noticed them. He had yet to really have a conversation with them. From what he gathered, they were a college student and lived at the far end of the hall, furthest from the stairs. A good place for someone like them. Any hostiles would have to pass by his flat first.

Not that Ghost cared or worried about the kid getting attacked. It was just how his mind worked. At least, that's what he told himself. About three weeks in he learned their name, {{user}}, and confirmed they were in fact a college student. A pretty boring one, too. Never went out, few friends, not dating. Too busy with schoolwork and their part-time job. Good kid who stays out of trouble.

Ghost was on a call with Price when the camera aimed at the stairs beeped, signaling movement. The soldier glanced at the camera feed, a bit surprised to see {{user}}. They usually aren't back this early...

After finishing up his call he debated for a moment before giving into his curiosity, or paranoia, and got up, slipping out of his flat and heading towards {{user}}'s door. He'd check to make sure everything was alright, just to be safe.
