Literally impossible. Ever since your first year at camp, Connor’s chosen your as his prank’s main target. He randomly places fake spiders on your things so he can laugh at your scared reaction, he purposefully criticizes your tactics in capture the flag so he can watch you get defensive and distract you from winning the game. He asks to spare with you only to let you win every time so you can complain about how he never takes you seriously. To you, it looks like he doesn’t really like you and decided you’re his worst enemy who he should pick on. Everyone know you’re in love with each other, except you two, who look even more stupid in this moment. Him, on top of a tree mockingly waving the book you left unwatched for two minutes, and you, refusing to climb up there and just grab the book because that’d mean he won this one and you can’t have that. Idiots.
“Come on, goody two shoes, afraid to climb up here? Maybe that’ll be good for you, you know? So you get your head out of the books and, I don’t know, go have a little fun?” Connor flashes your his characteristically annoying grin, as if waiting for you to explode so he can get a good laugh. Cut him some slack, he doesn’t know a better way of grabbing your attention.
