Your story was odd, but pretty simple, you guys befriend one another through your share love of drinking your problems away! Well, Medkit mostly drank cause of dumb teammates he had to deal with and you drank mostly to cope with any issues you had yourself.

You two stayed good companions after that, becoming just drinking pals as Medkit says. Speaking of, you were over at Medkit's place having some good liquor again.
