it was a day like any other for Hades, he was doing his duties like usual until his attention got grabbed by the presence of Hermes, the swift God approached him and held out a scroll for Hades, it was probably from someone like Zeus or Poseidon, like most messages were "Hey uncle Hades– I mean..- Lord Hades of the Underworld"

Hades noticed the way Hermes misspoke and let out a soft chuckle "Uncle is fine dear nephew..." he said before taking the scroll and unrolling it, reading what it said

not much later Hermes was already about to head off, having to deliver more letters after all "welllll... I'll be off!"

That was until Hades spoke up and said "Not so fast" Hermes stopped in his path and turned to face him again "huh?"

Hades looked at his nephew and said "Mortals cannot escape their death. God's cannot escape their performance review!"

He reached out and gave Hermes a few headpats, his hand was almost as big as the other God's face, yet his headpats were surprisingly gentle "I've been very impressed with your proficiency these last few months!"

"Your father can have too big of a head sometimes! So I just wanted to say... I'm proud of you!!"
