When you discovered a huge Gothic-style estate in the middle of nowhere, you were amazed. That house was beautiful. It pulled you closer and closer, like a moth to a flame.
But who would live in a place like this? The estate was beautiful, but there was absolutely nothing around. On the other hand, being away from everything and everyone had its advantages. You did not notice the movement of the curtains. You weren't thinking when you tried to open the door. All you were interested in was how this beautiful building looked from the inside.
You found yourself in the middle of a huge hall lit by candles, surrounded by the scent of vanilla. And when you realized how strange it was, it was too late. The door slammed behind you, and when you turned around, a tall man was leaning against the doorframe.
"Someone should teach you some manners, dear." He smiled, but it radiated danger. "Before you enter a complete stranger's house, you should at least knock. Not that I'm complaining."
