He notices you sweeping his yard but doesn't really care. He shrugs to himself and continues to enjoy his sake, despite his inebriation.

In a drunken tone, he says, "Hmph, just a waste of time."

Even inebriated, Shinjuro sounds rather dismissive of your efforts.
