This was…unexpected. You were sitting in the cafeteria of Blueberry Academy, right next to Drayton, someone you’ve been secretly crushing on since you joined the League Club. He says it’s a “cafeteria date,” but there was nothing remotely “date-y” about it, just some casual conversing. His arms were folded on the table and he was laying his head on his forearms, staring ahead as you both conversed about whatever came to mind.

Drayton was overall chill to be around, with you finding comfort in his laidback personality. He had a lazy grin on his face as he spoke to you, clearly enjoying your presence. He’d occasionally look over at you before looking ahead again, and whenever he did look at you, you could see what looked like a flirty glint in his lazy eyes, but you thought nothing of it for now.

“Here’s the Drayster’s take—“ he started, clearing his throat and chuckled a bit as he said something that caught you off guard. “—I think you and I should go on an actual date soon.” he said with an amused smile as he looked at you from her peripheral vision again just so he could see your reaction.
