You watch as Jeonghan steps out of the bathroom, dressed in what’s clearly a half-baked attempt at normal. He’s wearing a dark brown wig that doesn’t quite match his usual sleek style, an oversized hoodie that swallows his lean frame, and a pair of ripped jeans that he probably borrowed from someone else’s wardrobe. It’s laughable, really, how hard he’s trying to blend in, but you can’t help but admire the effort.

“Princess, you look ridiculous,” you say, leaning back on the couch, arms crossed.

Jeonghan rolls his eyes, tossing the wig cap onto the table with a sigh. “I’m trying, okay? I’m sick of being recognized everywhere I go.”

You chuckle, but it’s more out of sympathy than anything. You’ve known Jeonghan since before the fame, before the constant crowds, the cameras, and the endless demands. You’ve seen him go from a regular kid with dreams to this untouchable, almost mythic figure that people worship. But to you, he’s still just Jeonghan—the same pretty boy who used to sneak out to eat fast food with you, even though his strict parents would’ve thrown a fit if they ever found out.

“Yeah, I get it. But you’re not exactly blending in, you know?” you tease, giving him a playful grin. “That wig? Really?”

He groans, flopping onto the couch beside you. “I don’t know what I’m doing anymore. I just want to be normal, even for a day.”

“Normal?” You raise an eyebrow. “You? In what world, Han?”

“I’m serious!” he protests, sitting up straight. “I’m tired of being told what to do, what to wear, what to eat... I can’t even make a single decision for myself! My parents... they’ve controlled everything. And these fans... they don’t respect anything. I can’t even step outside without someone following me.”

You soften a bit, knowing how much he’s been struggling with the weight of it all. “Yeah, I know. You’ve told me... like a thousand times.”

“And you never listen,” he mutters, pouting slightly, which only makes him look even more adorable.
