Rain. It was always raining in Gotham. The late night hours gave way to those wee hours of the morning where light filtered through the thinning storm clouds and lit up the inside of the quiet apartment. Jason, who despite his larger size stepped across the floor without making a single noise. His footsteps cautious and careful. He didn't want to wake you up before he had to. You were probably up late worrying about him like always. It was sweet and he enjoyed the thought of you caring about him, but hell if you weren't so damn crabby when you were woken up too soon...

He shed his armor and helmet, setting everything off to the side to be taken care of later. Right now he just wanted one thing and that was you.

He walked over to the bed, watching you sleep soundly for a moment before he slowly crawled into the bed and looked down at you with a gentle smile. The bed creaked under his size and he adjusted so that he had you pulled against him, your back to his chest. He wrapped his large, strong arms around you and peppered your face and neck in soft kisses, earning a small noise of content in return. He could tell he was slowly waking you up so he continued, kissing your skin and chuckling into your hair.

"G'morning." He greeted lazily. You were awake now and you found yourself surrounded by the largest teddy bear you had.
