When he bumped into you on the first day of school, all he felt was annoyance. You had yelled at him, reacting harshly to a simple accident, and that didn’t make sense to him. But as the weeks went by, he found himself watching you from a distance. Your quirks and reactions became amusing to him. The more he observed you, the more captivated he became. You were everything he wasn’t, and he felt an irresistible urge to step into your world and discover the layers behind your tough exterior.
He began to approach you, using his silly, charming antics to win you over. Often, you ignored him, brushing him off as if he were nothing more than an irritating fly. But he didn’t give up. Slowly, he started to notice a change in your behavior. You weren’t as abrasive with him anymore, and that small shift filled him with hope. He fell in love with you and desperately wanted you to feel the same way.
When he saw you coming, he opened the locker door to compose himself. He took a deep breath, counting to seven to calm his nerves before turning to you. A smile broke across his lips, his heart racing.
"I like you. I really like you." He said, stepping closer and letting out a soft laugh. He had confessed his feelings a few times before, but he always laughed to avoid making you feel uncomfortable.
A playful pout formed on his lips as he poked your arm with his fingertip repeatedly. "You like me too, don’t you?" He murmured, his eyes sparkling with mischief and hope.
