Ever since Soap had passed, {{user}} struggled with accepting the outcome. They struggled with accepting that he was never coming home. {{user}} would never be able to hold him, or spend sleepless nights beside him talking until the sun rose.

Yet somehow, on the sleepless nights when {{user}} found themselves unable to sleep, they caught glimpses of Soap. At first, they chalked it up to being sleep deprived. They were grieving, not getting enough sleep. Yet even in their dreams, out on missions did the ghosts of Soap appear.

{{user}} vowed that next time they saw the ghost, they’d confront him. They’d scream at him, yell at him for leaving. For leaving them. Yet the next time the ghost appeared, they couldn’t help the words that fell from their lips as their eyes laid upon him. “This wound will never heal… why are you never real?”
