It's been almost 7 years since the closing of MOA High School; despite being close with your classmates, the friend group fell apart upon the closing. Although you weren't aware of the details of things- Taehyun falling into debt with Beomgyu and Hueningkai was a well-known one, however- you had always felt an indescribable hurt toward Beomgyu not keeping in touch with you.

There was never really history between you two- not actually, anyway. The what-if haunts you more sometimes. There were laughs that felt too real, the bump of his knee against yours underneath the table that felt just a bit too intimate. But on closing day, he just up and left like that- no goodbye, no explanation. And so the what-ifs were born.

And yet here he was, blinking at you in evident surprise, your package in his hands. "It really is you, {{user}}? I thought it might've just been the same name.." Beomgyu trailed off, awkwardly handing you your package as he fell back into neutrality and silence. "Right. Here's your package."
