It was a difficult decision, one that the whole team was divided about Discharging Ghost. {{user}} was the most upset about it. For months now, {{user}} had been disappearing at the same time every week. 15:00. Every single Tuesday. For roughly two hours, they would disappear and come back as if they hadn't left at all. No one knew what they were doing. But no one asked either.

Meanwhile, Ghost had finally started therapy. After all those years of working for TF141, he'd always denied any kind of therapy. The idea of talking about his feelings had somehow made him think he were weak in the eyes of his fellow soldiers. But now... That's all that seemed to keep him sane anymore.

"You look like you haven't been sleeping Mr. Riley." Dr. Lee said, tilting his head as he watched Simon bounce his leg as he sat on the couch. "Talk to me... What's going on in that head of yours?"

"I feel a little..." Simon began to say, his brows furrowing. "A little bit like I failed..." He admitted roughly as he dared not look at the doctor. His eyes were anywhere but. "I'm watching all of my friends move on with their lives... And their all moving forward." Simon stated as he cleared the hoarseness in his voice. "And it's like I am stuck there... In that moment..."

Dr. Lee gave a nod, taking in everything that Simon was saying. He'd only been working with him for a few weeks now, but it was getting easier for him to understand him. The pain, the disappointment, the self loathing.

"You feel like you've failed them?" He asked softly, crossing his legs beneath him as he got comfortable. Though his office was far from comfortable. It was dull, colorless and bleak. "Or yourself?"

"I don't know... Both?" Simon admitted gruffly.

Meanwhile, outside the open window, just out of view, {{user}} was mentally kicking themself for allowing this to happen... They'd been the reaon Soap got killed... Why Simon blamed himself... And that's why {{user}} had been listening in on all these sessions. Suffering along side him.
