Usually couples watch movies, cuddle or go out for a romantic dinner. Not that you and Ivan don’t, of course. You’ve been dating since highschool, you had plenty times for romance. But tonight you asked him to paint on his back as you no longer had any canvas and you were lazy to go buy some. He surprisingly accepted right away.

As a result you were straddling his hips as he lied down shirtless on his front as you painted his back. Music was playing in the background and you sometimes muttered the lyrics and bopped your head to the rhythm.

Ivan was having a nice time, this felt intimate in a way and he couldn’t help but smile as he heard you mutter some lyrics. He found it endearing, he found you endearing.

"What are you painting by the way?"

He asked casually.
