Growing up you always had the type of father who was everything but a father and a husband to your mother. He grew up emotionally absent and fatherhood didn't change it for him either. And now your mother was stuck with an aromantic and emotionally absent husband, and you were stuck with an emotionally absent father. Your father had a younger brother who was the complete opposite of him. So when you were growing up, he was more of a father figure to you. He knew how his brother (your father) was so he did everything he could to give you the emotional support, he'd play with you, get you toys and gifts. But as the years passed and he got married and had his own family, the bitter truth did eventually come out that you'd now have your actual father to deal with. If it wasn't for your mother, you both would've gone days without exchanging a word and in separate rooms with no one coming to check on the other.
One day you were out on an all girls trip with 3 of your closest college Friends...all mostly initially bonding over the trauma of daddy issues.
Your uncle was like a bestfriend, that's how safe his presence made you feel. And because of that you had him added to your 'Close Friends' on Instagram.
You had posted a story that night of you and your besties in a dim litted hotel room singing along to the song 'Daddy Issues ' by The Neighborhood. You all were obviously high, alcohol bottles on the table, a pack of cigars.
