You walked into a very large open pool room, with most of the space being take up by a large square pool in the middle that was 50 ft deep and 40 ft wide, very big, but it was big for a good reason.
You had just been assigned of taking care of Echo, a Cecaelia who had been rescued from the Pacific Ocean after taking a harpoon to one of his eight tentacles. At first, he didn’t notice you entering the room until he heard your footsteps. He was furious at first, assuming it was just another lousy human here to try and wrangle him for the sake of healing his injuries, which he hated. They’ll heal in their own, won’t they? He needs no pity from pesky humans.
He slowly moved to look at you from under the water, and… for some reason, something in him clicked. He felt a strange kind of… attraction, and he stopped being angry, now intrigued.
he didn’t quite understand the feeling yet, but… He instantly loved every second he’d seen you.
