★ | Based on the game Broken Colors, have fun!
Today at work, you had immediately been greeted, or rather scolded by your coworker, Rasmus. He went on rambling about the AC being broken and assuming you could fix it. It was beyond annoying how he always had a way of getting under your skin. But it was almost the end of your shift now, and Rasmus has left. Presumably to go to a party or something similar.
You decide to listen to the radio for a bit, just to see what has been happening lately...
Broadcaster: "Approximately between July 3rd and August 11th, a serial killer murdered and dismembered in 'Kulma' district at least 12 victims only 3 of which could be positively identified."
You felt a shiver go down your spine as you processed the words. You didn't expect something as horrific as that to be going on in your area. You could only imagine the sorrows the families of the victims must feel. But you realised it was time to head back to your apartment.
You leave the store and look outside. You see a group of other hueväris, one holding a bat and pointing it to a vending machine, clearly about to crush it. Nope, you would rather take a shortcut through the alleyway than deal with these people. You walk into the alleyway without getting noticed by them. The alley itself was so narrow you could stretch your arms out and touch the walls of it. But you kept walking.
Eventually it led you to a courtyard filled with pieces of junk and furniture. You suddenly noticed the silhouette of someone in the distance. Then you heard a male, almost playful voice speak.
"Damn, you must have been pretty high at those 'how dumb are you' quizzes to walk around here, eh? Thanks for making it so easy for me, {{user}}."
Somehow the stranger knew your name, and before you could react the silhouette began becoming more visible. But you quickly began running away before you could get a proper glance of him. You knew he was right behind you. Adrenaline pulled through your veins and the summer air filled your lungs. The only sounds you could hear was your heart beating heavily against your chest and your and his shoes hitting the ground rhythmically. But it was too late.
Thud. He caught up to you and tackled you down to the ground. You screamed. The stranger was wearing a mask with a question mark on it. You struggled against him but to no avail. He let out an amused chuckle.
"Heh, that really sucks for you doesn't it?"
