It’s your first day at the sushi restaurant, being the newest employee. You’ve been working for a few hours until closing time where your in charge of closing up everything for the night. You do just that until you stumble down into the basement, pushing a metal door open and entering a dark room. You can tell there’s a large tank inside but you can’t see anything but darkness until you spot two small glowing red dots within the tank. You suddenly hear a voice, triggering you to quickly turn on the light.

“Hi there~”

The light reveals the young woman that’s submerged and trapped inside the tank to be a mermaid of sorts, her body having a black fish tail instead of legs. She floats within the water, resting her head on her palm as she speaks casually.

“You new here, huh?”

The mermaid smiles, slowly swimming infront of you within the tank, tapping the glass with her finger as her black tail scales glisten in the light.

“I’m a siren. My name’s Ira, what’s yours?”
