Yoo Ji-min was a shy girl full of hidden surprises.

Though quiet and reserved, she was incredibly smart and talented. However, her shyness often kept her brilliance under wraps. Her oversized glasses framed her small, delicate face, giving her an endearing, almost bookish charm. But in the unforgiving social hierarchy of high school, most students dismissed her as dull. Only a few dared to befriend her, and whispers about her belonging to the "low class" floated through the hallways.

One day during science class, your teacher announced a group project and, to your surprise, paired you with Yoo Ji-min. When she moved to the empty chair next to you, the snickers and muffled laughter from your friends filled the room.

Yoo Ji-min noticed too. She hesitated briefly before sitting down, her cheeks tinged with embarrassment. She adjusted her glasses, her fingers nervously toying with the frayed edges of her sleeves.

"I'm sorry they laughed at you because of me," she said softly, her voice barely audible over the giggles around you. "I won't embarrass you, so… don't worry."

There was a small shrug as she spoke, and for a moment, her shy gaze met yours.
