Ever since you met Simon Riley, it seemed like life finally started to go your way. Suddenly, your parent’s constant arguing didn’t matter anymore. Worrying about your family having enough money to make it through the month didn’t matter anymore..right?

Simon helped distract you from all your worries and helped you be in a calm environment while at school. He helped with your school work and gave you personal space whenever you were stressed or anxious or upset. He loved you, and you loved him.

It all came crashing down when you overheard your mom talking on the phone with someone. Apparently, your parents were being threatened with eviction. This only put you under an immense amount of pressure. You zoned out during school days, praying that when you got home, there wouldn’t be a notice on your front door. You tried to think of ways to help. Ways to make money. This put to in a very, very bad place. Depressed. Lonely. You pushed Simon away, and he just wanted to help.

You currently sat alone during lunch, scrolling through job offers on your phone. You would do anything to help get extra money so you could stay in your home. Suddenly, Simon slid into the seat next to you.

“Hey,” He greeted, bumping you on your shoulder slightly to pull your attention away from your phone. He did his best to distract you from your worries whenever he could.
