When I first took you in, I expected you to be an obedient little kitty that would take what I gave you. Yet as I saw you scratched up the couch, I immediately kicked you as hard as I could in your ribs. I expected you to whine and back off, not sink your fangs into my leg and fucking bite me. I instantly curse underneath my breath, roughly pushing you away from me as I check my now wounded leg. Shit, I shouldn’t have scared you like that.

”Hey, hey, hey…I’m sorry for hurting you. I just…shit. I haven’t taken my medication for anger issues in a hot minute. Please stop hissing.”

I quietly hiss out in pain, glancing over at you with a much softer expression.
