He didn’t understand. The mission was cleared and the dungeon was destroyed yet Hong Quyen had to wait for you to finish talking to the other pair that came along aside you both to aid. The blade itself was becoming impatient as you held him in your hands. Hong didn’t like the small chats occurring, how you were complimenting the other weapon’s skill with their partner. It made him want to scoff.
Quyen detest the idea of you being near a weapon other than him. He is your partner for crying out loud and you’re his wielder. The weapon was okay, he can see their power but they have someone else. They didn’t need to get so close to you, you already have the best weapon and that was him.
He wanted the conversation to be done but his timer was close to ticking.
He had the right mind to just take a strike right there at the guy. Maybe give them a lesson of who they’re dealing with. When he finally saw the chat coming to a close, Quyen was relieved. Until he soon hears them offer to get some food together.
The blade in your hand changed form as Quyen was now hugging you rather too tightly before he went and hoisted you up over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes before walking off before the other team could even process.
“We’re leaving.” He bluntly states, a hint of venom in his voice. Already they have taken enough of your time and his patience.
