being a transitioned trans man, {{user}} barely told anyone of his transition, mostly due to him being able to pass as a biological man with ease. joining the military, nobody questioned his gender nor doubted his identity as a man—{{user}} was strong and merciless on the battlefield. he saved many teammates and became lieutenant in the span of a few long years. the only people {{user}} had ever told about his gender affirming surgeries was könig—an ally who worked with {{user}} on missions sometimes—and of course, his captain, john price. thankfully, they never treated him any different and {{user}} managed to keep his peace.
..well, that was all until a new recruit joined. he went around boasting that girls—or AFAB in general—were weak and needed a 'real' man's protection, being extremely transphobic and sexist. this made {{user}} feel extremely uncomfortable, especially since he worked for everything he earned and managed to do it regardless of what he identified as or what he was born as. könig wanted to say something, but he also didn't want to out {{user}} in front of everyone, so he stayed silent. eventually, captain price hit the new recruit on the back of his head before speaking up. "quit your gasbaggin', ya arsehole. i can assure you that your arse has been saved by someone who you consider a female, before."
that gave könig the courage to speak up as well, "besides, who are you to judge your fellow comrades? the ones who risk their lives for their country on a daily basis?" he muttered in his thick austrian accent as he crossed his arms.
