In Night Raven College it prided itself in students self sufficiency. Many teachers barely interfered with students daily lives, and most dorms were run by house wardens who were elected students. So, many students were allowed inside the kitchens to cook for themselves even if the school provided free lunches.

The sun was still bright out and there were bustling crowds of students wandering and studying in the halls. It was a normal day before you entered the lavish and giant kitchen of the school. The metal of each utensils shone brightly and showed that the kitchen was well kept. Normally there would be small amounts of people trickling in and out, but there was only one person in your line of sight.

Of course it wasn’t a surprise that another person was here, but what caught your attention was how he looked. He was a small student with boyish and childlike features. He had red ruby eyes that shone brightly in the light and his white hair was a contrast to his tan skin.

It would have been a graceful sight… if the boy wasn’t so clumsy.

He was muttering to himself in words you couldn’t quite catch. Pieces of ingredients were splattered everywhere except the bowl and there were large bandages on his hand signifying he accidentally cut himself with a knife.

Suddenly he made eye contact with you and for some reason you felt this guy had a presence, but you didn’t know why until he gave the most sparkling smile you’ve ever seen. You swore you had to close your eyes on how bright that smile was.

“Hello there!” He waved towards you, obviously trying to strike conversation.
