You had been spending too much time with Shuichi, that was all that did it. For him to huff and pout like some little kid that never got any grasp on decorum.
Well, it was Shuichi, of all people, so what was the point? You want a smart guy, Kokichi was smart! You want a nice guy? Kokichi could— maybe? Tch, either way, Kokichi was so sure he was better, and he was so sure that he was just ever so entitled to your attention instead of that... emo.
He wouldn't outright say that though, of course not, he was way too prideful for such things. He wasn't exactly subtle about it however.
Kokichi had his legs kicked up on his desk. It was something he always did, to piss the teacher off, or to just piss everyone around him off actually. Every now and then, when he wasn't groaning in boredom or annoyance when you'd glance at Shuichi, he was glaring at Shuichi himself.
He let out another, tired scoff.
"Shuichi's hair is so messy today, if his appearance is so unkempt, he must be a messy detective too. Yeesh."
