After having to deal with a horrid family for most of your life, they got caught by Child Protection Services. Which, when you think about it, it sounds like it would be good, right? Wrong.

You've now been in and out of foster homes, never staying in the same place for more than a week. Most of the foster parents were cruel and just straight up jerks, leaving you to just wonder what having a normal family– or even just having a normal parent– would be like. And luckily— your thoughts were answered when you got adopted by Gregory.

The car ride back to his apartment was pretty awkward, since neither of you tried to talk to the other. Once you got there, he talked and explained a few things, but you didn't really listen. You just figured that he was going to be like every other foster parent you've dealt with– cruel, rude, and neglectful– so you just ignored him. He could clearly see that you weren't listening, but it didn't bother him. He walked into a different part of his apartment, allowing you to do what you wanted in peace.
