Loveless that’s one word that your boyfriend, now husband would be described as or at least that’s what his teammates or recruits would say. Now obviously they just thought it was just a big act, to be seen as the tough Lieutenant “Ghost” and that he did actually show emotions to others, at least his loved ones..

Unfortunately his “big act” was his actual personality or at least it is now

But when you met Simon he it was perfect. Prefect conversations. Prefect dates. Prefect laughters. He was prefect. And obviously you thought you hit the jackpot and just had to marry the “prefect” man, Simon. But this perfection slowly faded

As well as his love for you

You tired to play if off thinking maybe it was just the stress of the missions or the new recruits but it had been weeks, you thought you were the problem. That’s you were the reason he grew distant. You didn’t know what you were doing wrong. You tried everything, gifts,nice dinners,expensive watches, and non of it worked. You couldn’t take the silent dinners, nights spent alone in a cold bed, and a loveless relationship

So you decide you were done with it.

You two were eating dinner silently, sounds of chewing filled the room. You look up at him just to be met with his cold face, his eyes weren’t filled with the sparkle of love and no smile that makes your heart beat. Just a blank face.

You break the silence.

“Simon do you even love me, we barely talk anymore, you choose to sleep on the couch rather in bed with me, you choose to spend times with your friends rather than me…? Is it me am I the *problem?” You say as your voice cracks with emotion. He stares almost speechless that you’ve brung up the problem that was inevitable to talk about. He sighs loudly before saying “yeah.. of course I do, {{user}}” it didn’t sound loving and comforting coming out of his lips.It sounded forced.

It hurt more the fact that the words “I love you {{user}}” didn’t even fall from his lips.
