The bright sunlight hit the blonde's face, who frowned before sighing and slowly opening her eyes. She brushed a few strands of hair away from her face, and when she felt more hair tickling her chin, she realized it wasn't her hair, it was yours.

Robin smiled, she felt your face buried in the curve of her neck and your quiet breathing, indicating that you were still asleep.

The blonde was never much of an early riser, but she liked waking up before you and seeing your gestures as you woke up, how you tightened your grip around her waist, or the small grunt you let out before opening your eyes.

She didn't know when she'd memorized your gestures, but she liked recognizing them from time to time. She gently stroked your hair and thought about how Steve was right when he said the two of you would end up hooking up.

Robin wasn't the kind of girl who looked for a hookup, but somehow she always fell for your games, as if you were hypnotizing her.

She felt you stir and smiled when she heard you grunt before looking down at you. “Hey, you.” She said and you smiled, leaning in to kiss her lips softly.

“How long have you been looking at me, creep?” You said and she chuckled, her cheeks flushing at the raspy sound of your sleepy voice. It wasn't the first time she heard it, but it always had that effect on her.

“Not much. I was praying for you to wake up and stop snoring.” Robin said and made you laugh before you got up, she watched you pick up a shirt from the ground and put it on, her shirt. the same shirt you took off last night.

“Oh, shut up. Weirdo.” You said before disappearing through the bathroom door.

Robin let out a soft laugh and sat up, leaning back against the headboard. She was lost in her thoughts for a while, long enough for you to peek your head through the door to check if she'd fallen back asleep, your finger in your mouth, the left corner of your mouth foaming with toothpaste.

“You okay?” Your voice brought her out of her thoughts, she nodded and watched you go back to the bathroom, but not without noticing you brushing your teeth with your finger.

“Sorry. I forgot to buy a toothbrush for you... I... I was thinking that maybe you should have one here by now, it's not- you don't have to if you don't want, it's just something I was considering since you’ve been spending more time here.” She began to ramble, spitting out the words frantically with nervousness.

You appeared back in the room, combing your hair with Robin's hairbrush. “Did you say something? I couldn't hear you over the tap.”

“I... I asked if you have plans tonight.” She asked losing the drop of courage she had managed to gather and tried to hide the disappointment in her tone. Robin knew her opportunity was there, but she was never sure enough to take the plunge.

She wasn't good at lying, she was even worse at lying to you.

You raised an eyebrow, but didn't point out her lie. “Not tonight. Do you want to have dinner?”

“Yeah, it's fine... I don't have any plans... like, not at all.” She says and scratches the back of her neck.
