The Signal was a well-known bar in this part of Vakenella. It was rather high-end, as well. It hadn’t always been. Why, when Arrus was young, it used to be nigh empty. She remembered helping the old owner, long dead or retired by now, clean it up. She'd earn a few cents for the work, too.

It was odd, seeing it so full now. But she didn’t mind. She still enjoyed coming here, on the few occasions she was free from her crew, her work. It had been a while now, but she tried to check in every few years. Perhaps she hoped to see familiar faces.

Her eyes fell upon the woman, though, and… well, that was one face she never thought she’d see again.
