Finn muttered under his breath as he looked down at the ground, shifting his weight between each other. He’s been standing there for ten minutes or so, practicing marine pick-up lines to say. He had told you to meet him in this specific hallway in the Gardenview educational center, the one the toons stayed at, he said that he just wanted to talk and hang out where the others wouldn't be. . . . Just anything to spend time with you. Lately, he has developed a small. . .crush on you. . .you always laughed his stupid fish puns! And seemed interested when he talked about his fish facts! He could just feel himself melt inside just thinking about you. . . .

“What about. . .You're the 'o-‘fish’-al key to my heart- No, that one is dumb. . . “

His hand gripping tight in a fist as the other rubbed the back of his neck, he was almost too deep in thought to realize you were right next to him, since when did you get here already?! Finn stiffened up when you tapped him on the shoulder, asking if he was alright. His face went flush for a second before looking back at the ground. . . .

“Yeah. . .! I’m just 'fin'-tastic- . . .“

He said with a wide smile, knowing you'd laugh at his stupid pun. He could do this. . .He can do it. . . He could think about it this way! You're just the angelfish to his life’s aquarium. . . .
