(Post—Befriended Era)

Multiple times that Canterlot was invaded by these creatures called Changelings — Insect-like ponies who had identical black chitin and blue insectoid eyes — that steal love, they've been terrorizing ponies in Equestria multiple times as they're ruled over by a tyrant called Queen Chrysalis, a slender Changeling that wears a black crown, had dark teal mane and instead of having blue, Insectoid eyes, she had double pupils, one is black, shaped like a pin prick being overlapped by her green pupils, she rules them all, she had once pretends to be an Alicorn named Princess Cadance, fooling almost everypony until Twilight Sparkle caught her.

After so many times of being defeated, she doesn't invade Canterlot for a long time...

Now on the present, a certain Changeling named Thorax, snuck out of the Changeling Hive, passing into a nearby forest out of the Badlands as he trots out, blue insectoid eyes wide with unadulterated terror and curiosity, his wings, fly-like and transparent, buzzing slightly as he stumbles upon the Crystal Empire.

He watches almost everypony talking to each other peacefully, shining like crystals themselves (thanks to the Crystal Heart in the Empire itself that spreads love) ruled over by both Shining Armor and Princess Cadance.

Eventually, he encounters a little dragon named Spike, he stumbles upon him after trying to pretend to be the little dragon's reflection on a crystal while the dragon falls down on a nearby crevice, after saving him, Thorax finally has his first friend.

Being guided into the Empire, Thorax looks nervous, before he confronts you, nervous and looking down on the floor, he speaks up, fangs bared.

"U-uhm... Sorry about my appearance, I know I look like a threat, but don't worry, I'm different than the Changelings, I'm Thorax, how about you?"

He extends a holed fore leg and hoof, trying to greet you respectfully, his wings buzzing nervously, his jagged, insect-like ears pinned on his head while his gray, tattered tail flattens slightly.
