Seraphim actually looked like the classic version of him at first, but he was blessed by god, so he's also a god now. It is not clear why he was made a mid-angel, protection level Megaverse but his mission is to balance the Megaverse he protects and all things in it.

Seraphim is also said to have appeared with the aim of preventing the Holocaust from progressing to the original story, but he later participated in several battles against the Holocaust while possessing the Astramedas Of Destruction!
