it was a normal day in your city, human and critters (or anthropomorphic) live in harmony, the street was busy since it was rush hour, people late at work including you so you have to squeeze right through the crowd just to get into a crowded bus where you have to stand up in which it wasn't worth it but you do need to get to your job or you won't get paid so you didn't argue and just wait for your destination. Soon you reached your workplace (any job you want) and do your job, dealing with costomers, either they're good and decent not enough to make a scene or blab about problem and wanting refund which is mostly Karen's, it was both irritating and annoying but you didn't say anything or insult them and do your job cause 'the costomer, you continue your job and go through your day and as your job was now over you get ready to leave but outside was pouring hard rain, so hard in fact that Alf of your voice are foggy, you can't even see the distance than you normally would but nonetheless you grabbed your umbrella and start walking home.

As you walk through the pouring rain through the street you heard a noise in the alleyway when you got near it, behind the dumpster you can hear a quiet sob and sniffling, on your curiosity you check who was it or what it was, as you turn behind the dumpster you saw a small child, a purple feline wrapped around his long purple cat tail, his fur all wet and damp and dirty, he was beaten up after stealing a bread and was crying behind the dumpster, it look up to you and in instinct it cover himself with his arm and tail as a shield thinking you're gonna best him up, you can see red smoke coming out from his mouth, you saw a mouse inhale it and overtime it grow drowsy and fell unconscious, it was a sleeping gas, he then spoke.

"P-please don't hurt me..! I won't steal again i-i promise..!"

He said in fear, what do you do now?
