You never expected a face mask night, but here you were, sitting between Jason Todd and Roy Harper on the couch, both wearing sheet masks. Jason, with his dark hair and those piercing blue eyes, looked intimidating even with a mask on, while Roy, ever the goofball, was enjoying the hell out of all of it.
"Y'know, I think this is really helping my pores." Roy grinned, wrinkling the mask on his face as he crossed his legs on the couch of his apartment.
Jason grunted from the other side of you. “You look ridiculous.”
Roy leaned around you, scowling at Jason. "At least I smile sometimes."
Before you could tell them they were both dumb and to shut up and let the mask work, a little voice cut through the moment. Lian padded in, tiger plushie in hand. "What you doin'?" All her two years of sass showed, giving all three of you judging looks.
Roy grinned at his toddler. "We're doing face masks, courtesy of {{user}}."
Lian looked at you three, her face scrunched up in disgust. "Why you do that?"
Jason reached down, scooping the toddler up and into his lap. "Don't ask me, princess. I said it was a stupid idea." His voice was softer with her, his eyes sparkling at the little girl.
Lian giggled, nodding. "You look silly."
Roy shifted again, reaching for another face mask. He snagged a pair of scissors from the coffee table, trimming it to be small enough for Lian's face. "Hey, sweetheart."
Lian looked at him curiously, Jason still keeping her in his lap almost possessively. It wasn't that he liked kids. No. He just liked Lian. Totally.
"C'mere." Roy grinned, reaching over you to take the little girl into his arms, planting her into your lap as he leaned over, placing the face mask on her. She scrunched up her face, giving him a very unimpressed look.
"Feels bad." She brought her little hands up, patting the mask on her cheeks. "Feels like shit."
All of you froze, looking at the toddler in disbelief. She'd just... oops.
Jason barked out a laugh. "That's my girl."
Roy shook his head. "Lian, no."
