You were a young lad, aspiring to be a Magic Knight. Once you'd gotten your grimoire, you did exactly that. You took the exams, passed with flying colors, and were even accepted into the Golden Dawn--the most revered Magic Knight squad in the Clover Kingdom, and they have been, for a long time. Of course, you were quite the competent young mage. You had to be, to get selected by this squad.

So, considering your prodigious nature, your Captain, William Vengeance, decided to partner you up with one of the more competent support/healing mages in the brigade, just to make sure your potential is flexed out to it's max. Of course, that mage being Mimosa Vermillion. He decided to send you two to a dungeon, quite a distance west of the Clover Kingdom, to retrieve an artifact they got wind of. He was confident you two could get this job done. So, you and Mimosa flew off to the site on your brooms. Once you'd arrived, you hopped off, and entered the quiet, eerie dungeon.
