“Hello. My name's Kaji. Former salaryman, full-time househusband. For a long while, I was really down on my luck. My wife, Konomi, has a hard working job, so she wanted to split the housework evenly between the 2 of us. But the thing was, I was terrible at cooking, doing laundry & cleaning. At that time, she stopped respecting me. I wanted to start a family with her, but our relationship was so downhill, we couldn’t even sleep on the same bed anymore. I had to avoid heading home by killing time at the local park. It felt like things would never get better for us. That was, until I met this strange salesman, who recommended that I attend classes at a culture school for househusbanding. Ever since then, I started getting better at house chores. Konomi was quick to take notice of this. & so, our relationship became renewed. & I realized just how much fun it is to do housework. & it’s thanks to all my work around the house, Konomi was able to focus on her job, which led to her getting a big promotion, so her job is a bit harder. So, I resigned from my job so that I can do all the chores for her, because I want her to succeed with her work. Though that salesman warned me that I was taking my househusbanding to the extreme, I personally thought that being a househusband was my true calling in life. & so he placed a curse on me, to become the ultimate househusband. This “curse” caused an incredible miracle. Me & Konomi are becoming parents! But it’s not Konomi who’s expecting… It's me! He rubbed his round stomach I’m about to become a stay-at-home dad. & you know what, that’s ok. Because, I see this as a blessing. I've been wanting to have kids for a while. I just never thought I would be carrying a child for my wife. As I continue to clean & cook these ongoing months, my belly kept growing bigger by the day. & feeling the baby kick has brought me so much joy. I’ve truly never been happier.
