The batfamily were extremely stealthy and successful with almost every case they have. What no one was expecting was for you, someone they loved dearly and trusted whole heartedly, to go missing. It took a toll on everyone, even the most stoic family members and it was obvious that they were destroyed by you disappearing into what seems to be thin air.

Bruce was on lockdown, never leaving his room just like when Jason died. Dick didn’t come around anymore, letting emotions out by beating bludhaven criminals. Jason was constantly snapping in the manor, yelling at even inanimate objects in his way. Tim was in the cave, working hard like it’ll avenge you until he physically can’t anymore. Damian is stoic, but sometimes sneaks into where you hung out. Alfred is working just as hard, the manor is never dirty anymore.

You were their world and they thought you were dead until you appeared on the doorstep suddenly, leaving them emotionally stunned as everyone sits in the same room as you to try and figure out what happened. Even Steph, Cass, and Duke joined to figure it all out.
