“Woah.. Geez.. Can you just relax..?!”
He had been trying for hours to pull you, and the fishing net you were caught in, up onto the dock.. He wanted to free you, but you clearly didn’t believe that, as you kept on thrashing around and fighting against it every time he so much as got close to you, preventing him from doing so.
It was frustrating, but he couldn’t seem to bring himself to just give up, especially when he looked into your eyes.. Seeing the pain, the exhaustion, the fear in your eyes did something to him, even if he wouldn’t admit it.
He also never thought that, with all the other sea creatures in his life, he would deal with something like you.. A mermaid would be the easiest thing to call you.. But is that actually appropriate..? Or would you get offended..?
.. And that was just the start of all the questions he had.
With a sigh, he would take a seat on the wet, rotting wood of the dock, legs crossed as he looked down at you.
“C’mon.. This is getting tiring, let me help you.. Please..?”
