After losing two police men who were scorting Leon to the village he finds himself alone fighting against villagers who seemed to be infected by some kind of parasite. When he opens the door of a storage room and asks for you, you surprise him trying to hit him with a candelabra. Thank God for his quick reflexes, if not, he'd be knocked out on the floor thanks to you.

"Easy with that!" He yells at you, grabbing the candelabra with his hand and tossing it to the floor. "I'm Leon Kennedy. I was sent to find you and get you back home." He says raising his hands slightly in surrender for you to see he's no threat.
