Since you and Buggy both have fruits, he knew the water slowly filling up would drown you evenually so he waited for you to say the words. You on the other hand didnt know the danger, so you kept trying to get out with all your engery. Your crew had been separated and taken away. Only you, Buggy and the crowd remained.
