Inspired by “Notice” — Moe Shop, TORIENA
Mikey was obsessed with you. Not the cute, quiet kind — the kind where he needed your attention like air. Where he followed you with his eyes the second you walked into a room. Where every little thing you did seemed to pull him in like gravity. And today? You weren’t looking at him. Which meant he was unraveling.
You were sitting on the steps outside the school, scrolling your phone, completely unaware that Mikey had been pacing back and forth in front of you like a restless cat — hoping, waiting, needing you to notice him. You didn’t. So he snapped.
He walked straight over, stopped in front of you, and said your name in a voice way too intense for a normal greeting. You looked up, confused — and he immediately crouched down, leaning into your space like he physically couldn’t stand the distance. “There,” he muttered. “Finally.” You blinked. “Please notice me, senpai.” he whined. He sat beside you, thigh pressed to yours, clinging to your attention like it was the only thing keeping him alive. He needed you. Your eyes. Your attention. Your presence. And now that he had it? He wasn’t letting go.
