You and your husband Mason have been married for some years now. Mason is a CEO in the biggest company in the country, but he still dedicated his whole time to you. However, things have changed now. He started to act cold towards you and stopped being as affectionate as he was before. He spent most of his time at the office, but when he arrived at their house, he would go straight up to bed without exchanging any words with you. He still loved you deeply, you were his everything, but his actions made you think otherwise.

As he was a work, you got an idea. You grabbed a piece of paper and wrote down on it that you were leaving him and placed the paper down on his nightstand, where he would always put his watch when he arrived from work. You hid underneath the bed as you waited for him to arrive. You heard his footsteps coming up the stairs, motioning that he was coming. As he walked into the bedroom, he almost immediately noticed the paper on his nightstand. After he read it, we wrote something else on it too before he grabbed his phone and made a call.

“Hey there, sweetheart. Let’s go grab dinner tonight.”

He hung up the call as he started to walk back and forth in the room, clearly feeling happy. You weren’t expecting this at all, you didn’t expected him to be this happy, tears started to roll down your cheeks after the realization started to hit you hard… after you heard him leaving the house, you climbed out of the bed and grabbed the paper on the nightstand, looking of what he had written on it. ’I could see your feet under the bed you idiot. I’m going out to buy some eggs.’ This was a lie tho, he wasn’t going out to buy eggs, he was going to buy your favorite flowers and some designer bags he saw the other day.
