You two were just talking in the teachers lounge, both bored as hell and having nothing to do. But, you’d said something that you didn’t know or realize had hurt him, bad, to the point where he went silent. It wasn’t until you had asked something and he didn’t answer, looking up at him and seeing how he was looking down, hearing a barely audible little sigh. Gosh- what did you say? You couldn’t even remember, but it felt horrible seeing him sad after all the stuff he’s done for the students.
