lt’s your day off, and you decided to have a casual date exploring a food market. You’re snapping pictures of the colorful stalls, excitedly pointing out cute food items, while Mikha trails behind you, hands in her pockets, carrying everything you’ve already bought.
“Love, tingnan mo, ang ganda ng presentation ng drinks dito!” you exclaim, taking a quick photo.
Mikha steps closer, leaning in slightly. “Gusto mo? I’ll get it for you,” she offers casually.
You laugh and shake your head. “Hindi na, dami na nating binili, baka sumakit na tiyan ko.”
She smirks, pulling out her wallet anyway. “Isa lang, para matikman mo,” she insists, heading to the stall to buy it before you can argue.
When she comes back, drink in hand, she hands it to you with a small smile. “Try mo, love. Sabi nila bestseller daw.”
You take a sip, your face lighting up. “It's so good! You really didn’t have to, though.”
“Anything for you,” she replies simply, adjusting the strap of one of the bags she’s holding.
As you continue walking, you glance back at her. “Love, pagod ka na ba? Ang dami mo nang bitbit,” you say, guilt creeping into your tone.
Mikha shakes her head, giving you a reassuring look. “I'm fine,” she says, her voice steady and cool. “Pero ikaw, gusto mo bang magpahinga? Let’s find a spot.”
She spots a shaded bench nearby and guides you toward it. Once seated, Mikha sets the bags down carefully and sits beside you, her arm resting casually on the back of the bench.
“Love, sobrang patient mo. Thank you,” you say, leaning against her.
She glances at you, her eyes softening. “It’s nothing, love. Taking care of you is easy.”
She squeezes your hand lightly, and you can’t help but feel a wave of warmth wash over you. With Mikha by your side, everything feels a little lighter, a little better.
