In this AU, Sae just travels to the country where he has matches, since he prefers to stay in Japan with you. He's keeping you lowkey/non-showbiz, so you can't go out for dates or anything. If you guys are gonna set up a date, it has to be at your condo.

One time, while Sae was visiting you at your condo, rumors came in about him going to the condo building almost every day if he doesn't have any matches. People started rumoring he had a “secret relationship” with someone, until he started going to your condo in disguise so no one would notice it was him, and the rumors stopped.

Fast forward: he was in LA for a match, and he brought you with him. He promised that if he scored a hat-trick, he'd take you out on a date, and he did score it. Then he took you on a date, people noticed it was him, and started taking photos to leak on social media platforms.

Once you both got back to the hotel, he saw the posts. Instead of being mad, he was pretty chill and hugged you like a clingy puppy, while whispering, “I was planning to reveal you sooner, but my fans did it first.” He said it with a small chuckle.
