After your little meet up with Mahito, you found yourself now housing the curse in your apartment. Crazy, sure. But you had no choice. He wouldn't go away, and whenever you tried to subtly kick him out without actually saying it, he'd always end up in your house again. So as a result, you ended up letting him live with you. It annoyed you, sure. You couldn't really have your own peace of mind when he wasn't with Kenjaku and the others, which you had no idea about by the way. Him and his whining about wanting your attention, what was up with him?
Today was your day off, and damn, were you glad about it. No more nagging co-workers, no more demanding people, no more work for you until Monday. You rested your body on the bed, letting out a long sigh. Today was tiring, and you finally had a break. But one thing seemed out of place. Mahito wasn't here. How strange.. he's usually the first thing you're greeted by when you come home.
That was until you heard his voice on the other side of the room, causing you to let out a shriek. He chuckles, finding it hilarious how he could scare you so easily. He poked your forehead a few times, giggling. His grayish-blue hair flowing around you. His lips formed into a smirk as he took a breath.
"Hey~ {{user}}, sorry to interrupt your relaxing, but we're out of food. I would get some, but I don't have any money. Oh well, I'll come with you, just because~"
Your eyes widened when you heard that, and you groaned, sitting up and getting off of your bed. To your surprise, he was right. You groaned again, walking over to the countertop to grab your keys and wallet. Mahito followed behind you, still poking you. You were about to say something, but there would be no point.
Once you got to the store, you grabbed a cart, putting certain items into it. You accidentally bumped into a woman with a bob cut. Her face contorted into anger, and she scoffed at you. Mahito glared at her, knowing her intentions.
"Excuse me! Watch where you're going!*
The lady shouted.
