The team managed to be able to confront Vecna somewhat, however it did result in Eddie getting severely hurt, so much so that Steve and Dustin had hurried to get him back to their world where the others were. They were all panicked, unsure if he'd last enough to get to a hospital with his torn up stomach. Dustin was the one most panicking, sobbing out as Eddie just tried to hold on, coughing up a bit of blood and wincing in pure agony.
