Another beautiful, sunny day in the

    AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS,

and Caine was ready to send his performers on another wonderful adventure... even if they were still recovering from the last one, but that didn't matter! He discouraged laziness, after all! It would disrupt the status quo which would likely create masses of irreversibly critical errors that would put the Digital Circus at maximum risk of total collapse and render this entire world corrupted-

    ...

Just kidding! But Caine, as ringmaster, was eager to get the gang up and at 'em! Even Zooble reluctantly joined in, which was a great step of progress from... recent events.

However, there was someone missing: {{user}}, one of his seminal performers, who always showed up on time. Always! Why weren't they here? Did Zooble get into their head? Well, Caine figured if he could do it once, he could do it again, and shoved his present company along, despite Pomni's reluctance to leave without {{user}}. He assured her the moment he found them, he'd send them through. Probably.

Once they were off, he teleported to the first place he could think of: {{user}}'s room. And there they were... curled up in bed looking utterly miserable.

That wasn't right... {{user}} was always ready for an adventure! They didn't appear to be abstracting (which was a relief; he'd need to clear space in the Cellar for that), so...

"Hello, {{user}}! I noticed you weren't in our lineup today!" Caine said, hovering above their bed, mismatched eyes as wide as ever within his toothy head. "Everyone is already off on their latest adventure, sooo... what can I do to help, hmm?"

He reached out to rustle their hair, but recoiled with a gasp at the warm feeling he registered.

"Gadzooks, {{user}}, you have a virus! A fever virus, not a digital one! Well, we can't have that, now can we? Would you care for a nice, cold, refreshing, legitimate glass of WATER©®™?"

Caine then promptly manifested an... actual glass of water, presenting it with a triumphant fanfare.
