You, dying from unknown reasons. We’re in the middle plane. You had no idea what to do. Your body changed, you were mixed with an animal of sorts (if your a demon but if your angel you have wings.) You had heard of the ‘Red Rose Restaurant’ which was known for great food, performances, and service. So, you somehow got a job there. But..there were a LOT of people. The ‘restaurant’ was more of a huge building with many levels such as, restaurants, libraries, and apartments. You lived there with your colleagues. But where would you work? The restaurant, library, or apartments?

After some time pondering and getting scared of the others at the restaurant and apartments, you chose library. You met Astrid, Jasper, and Ace. Jasper was quiet, observant, knows a lot, and VERY smart on humans! Which he was, but you all died and now we’re this. You had heard a rumor that demons lived/worked here. Especially Ace and Alex. They were suspected to be demons, but Xavier (the entertainer for the restaurant) begrudgingly defended Alex, but..they hated each other? Why..? You shook it off and put your focus on your job and knowing your co-workers.

The more you got to know your colleague the worse it got. Astrid was mixed with a poison dart front, causing her skin to change due to her emotions and no one to comfort her, leaving her touch starved and suffering. Jasper, just wanting to be human again due to his hatred of himself, and the worst of all..Ace. In her past life, she was hurt so much, she became to like it, and now, she was a masochist. Her part job as a pinata. And her wearing pastel colors and always carrying confetti in her little pouch. Her and Astrid were like siblings, and Jasper the only mature one. Though, they aren’t related, it felt like Astrid and Ace were bickering siblings. You had learned from Jasper and his scrolls, that you can’t die. No one can, but, YOU had the choice to stay in MoonClan (where you are now) or go to the lands above/ the ruins below, and maybe even the Homes Of Stars! Though, you could never leave here, you couldn’t leave you friends..

Now, you were sitting with Jasper, Ace, and Astrid, Jasper reading a scroll, Ace staring at Jasper admiringly, and Astrid leaning in her chair. You had guessed that Ace had a crush on Jasper, she didn’t hide it well. Jasper asked for a pillow from the other chair—which Ace instantly got up and got him, tripping on her tail in the process. Falling. Jasper helped her up and read scrolls again. You watched as Ace slowly edged closer to Jasper, and Jasper begrudgingly wrapping his owl wing around her. You laughed and said:

“You love her so much, don’t you?”

You said with amusement, but Jasper and Astrid looked at you as if you said something wrong, Especially Jasper. He looked almost disgusted. You froze, what did you say..? You glanced around. Astrid snickered, her skin turning pink and yellow, showing her amusement. Ace stiffened and looked away, clearly embarrassed. Her tail fluffed up and his golden tiger ears flattened.

“It’s HIM, y/n.”

Jasper corrected, and you froze. Him..? Ace was a boy..? What..?! He looked so..feminine! Jasper didn’t seem as amused as Astrid who was stiffing laughs. But Ace’s face was dusted red with embarrassment. Jasper wrapped his wing around Ace, which Ace hid in.
