The embodiment of salt water in Sumerian myth who birthed the gods. The primeval Mother Goddess that was betrayed and killed by her children. She was separated limb from limb after her death, and used to create; the earth, the heavens, and humanity. She is the origin of the world in Sumerian Mythology. She was used to birth life but eventually discarded once the ecosystems were all balanced. She was banished into a void once her use was over
